Lucknow: Rejection! A word which is usually not accepted by many in our societies. All those rejected tend to take revenge as it goes parallel with their ego.

But in Bollywood, the case isn't the same. There are various actors and actresses who faced criticism and rejection due to their looks, height and voice but instead of taking it negatively, they tried their best and emerged as the heartthrob of millions around.

-Katrina Kaif was not accepted by Bollywood in her earlier days because her looks were "too foreign" according to producers. She could not even speak proper Hindi. Unfazed by the harsh criticism, she rose to power and is regarded as one of the top Bollywood actors today.

-Bollywood's King Khan who is ruling the hearts of fans even in his 50's also faced many rejections. He started his career from TV and had to face a lot of criticism in Bollywood for his chocolate boy looks. However, he soon proved himself, and went on to do commercial, blockbuster hits, completing 25 years in the industry. He is now regarded as the Baadshah of Bollywood and his rags to riches story is awe inspiring!

-Ajay Devgn also faced a lot of rejections in Bollywood for his looks. His face was hnot accepted by many directors to be casted a smain lead. However, he gradually transformed himself over the years and got married to the Bollywood's most stunning actress, Kajol!

-Amitabh Bachchan faced rejection for being too tall. His voice was also a problem for producers. However, right now both of these factors are considered his plus point.

-Nawazuddin Siddiqui, once a chemist, has done great struggle to make his name in Bollywood. He hardly used to get roles in films because of his unconventional looks.During the early phase of his career, he didn't receive success.Now, due to his acting capability, he became the most talented actor working alongside big names such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan. He even won the prestigious National Award, proving how ultimately, looks don't matter.
