Rangoli slams Deepika, says actress is not interested in JNU students

Lucknow: Kangana Ranaut has been in the limelight and loves to stay in it. Kangana is known for her outspoken and courageous take on things and is not the one to cower before anybody.

Recently, Kangana Ranauts sister, Rangoli Chandel made a statement against Deepika Padukone who stood in solidarity with the students who were protesting against the violence at the campus. In a series of tweets, Rangoli slammed Deepika and said that the Padmaavat actress is not interested in JNU students, only money.

Rangoli went on to question if Deepika has ever taken a stand on any other issues such as Article 370, CAA or Pulwama.

Rangoli had also posted a video of Kangana Ranaut wherein the actress thanked Deepika and Meghna Gulzar for making a film on acid attack survivors and for throwing light on the subject. Rangoli had also thanked the team of 'Chhapaak' for telling 'a story that needs to be told.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak is all set to release on January 10, 2020. The film also stars Vikrant Massey as a lead role.
