Ranbir Kapoor roasts Anurag Basu during AIB podcast!

Mumbai: Making a sensational-cum-sarcastic statement, Bollywood heart-throb Ranbir Kapoor on Monday said that Anurag Basu is one of the most irresponsible directors he has worked with.

Coming out with a justification further, Ranbir poured his heart out to say that the Barfi director is known for working against what the script says.

"When Anurag begins shooting for a film, nothing is organized!!! there is no script, there is no schedule. When we started working on Barfi, he cancelled 40 days schedule on the third day as he found it’s not working,” said sarcastic Ranbir during a podcost with the comedy group, AIB.

Narrating the incident of the Barfi days, Ranbir said, "When 'Barfi went on floor, my character was supposed to be very intense and serious but suddenly after 10 days he did not find it interesting and wanted to add more fun into it,” he added.

‘Tamasha’ actor also revealed that he remained clueless about his professional front during the phase when he was working on ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which took almost three years.

He also connected the long schedule of 'Jagga Jasoos' with AbRam's growing days, saying, "AbRam was born when the shoot started, so we kept track of time by his age."

“During this phase, when people used to ask what I am doing, then I used to say no I am also working on some other projects,” Ranbir said.

In an open warning to Anurag, Ranbir said he is not going to forgive former if ‘Jagga Jasoos’ does not do well at Bollywood Box Office.

“I must say as Barfi was successful so we forgive that process but if 'Jagga Jasoos' does not succeeded then this long process will not be forgiven. I will call it irresponsible as it is other people's waste of time and money both as other producers are waiting for you,” said the 34-year old actor.

On work front, Ranbir is working on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.
