Rakul Preet Singh confirms receiving NCB summons, set to appear tomorrow

Mumbai: The case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has now been turned into a Bollywood drug connection. Many big film personalities have been named in this case. Now NCB has started questioning all these. Narcotics Control Bureau has sent summons to Sara, Shraddha, Rakul Preet, including Deepika Padukone, in the drugs case.

Hours after Rakul Preet Singh's team claimed that actress had not received any summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau who are probing the Bollywood-drug nexus, the actress has now acknowledged it. A NCB official confirmed the development.

After confirming that she has received the summon, reports have stated that the actress will appear before the anti-drug probe agency on 25 September.

Rakul Preet Singh:

The actress, who is an extremely popular figure down South, was called in for questioning today. However, she may now appear on Friday along side Deepika Padukone.

The NCB had earlier stated that they issued summons to the actress digitally, but there was no response from her or her team.

It must be noted that reports had widely stated that Rakul's name came up during Rhea Chakraborty's interrogation. However, Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has categorically stated that the actress did not name anyone in her questioning.

Deepika Padukone:

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is reportedly set to appear before NCB tomorrow. Mumbai Police has been asked to deploy additional security at the NCB office tomorrow ahead of her visit. The Mumbai Police has been instructed to make proper arrangements ahead of the star’s visit tomorrow.

Designer Simone Khambatta was also called for questioning today at the NCB office. After her alleged drug chats with Rhea Chakraborty were discovered. The designer arrived at the NCB for a probe today.
