Rajkummar, Kriti wrap Lucknow shoot of ‘SMZA’

Mumbai: Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda who will share screen space for the first time in Vinod Bachchan's ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’, under the Soundarya Production banner, recently wrapped up the Lucknow and Allahabad schedule of the family entertainer.

Directed by Ratna Sinha, ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ has been penned by Kamal Pande. The movie which went on floors last month in Allahabad, will see this unusual and exciting fresh pairing create fireworks on screen.

From the cultural and traditional roots of UP, rises the story of two ordinary middle class people ,Satyendra Mishra and Arati Shukla, who are soon to be bound in matrimony but Satyendra is left alone at the altar, as Arati decides to pursue her dreams. 5 years later they cross paths and the story takes an interesting turn when Satyendra, now an IAS official has been assigned a case of framed PCS officer Arati Shukla.

Talking about the new venture, producer Vinod Bachchan said, “We have finished the Lucknow and Allahabad schedule of the film and everything went off well. The movie is fast nearing completion and I'm glad we are going as per the schedule."

Director Ratna Sinha added, “We have just wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Lucknow. We have a great team working on Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and are putting every effort to ensure that this film leaves audiences thoroughly entertained”.

Produced by Vinod Bachchan under the Soundarya Production banner, the shooting of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda is currently underway.
