Mumbai: Director Priyadarshan, whose Malyalam movie ‘Oppam’ is all set for September release, is keen to remake the film in Hindi.

Sources close to the director said, that he is in talks with several Bollywood actors for the Hindi remake of the Malyalam film. A source added, "The star cast for the Hindi remake of Oppam will be disclosed after the release of Malyalam version."

About Oppam:

  • Actor Mohanlal plays a role of blind man Jayaraman, who is the suspect of a crime he witnessed.
  • In movie Jayaraman is forced to prove his innocence by finding the culprit.
  • The film stars Mohanlal, Samuthirakani, Vimala Raman and Anushree.
  • The film is slated to release in September.
