Prostitution theory gives new twist to Pratyusha suicide case

Mumbai: A new and shocking development has come in the alleged suicide of Balika Vadhu fame actress Pratyusha Banerjee as a leading daily reports that her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh had forced her into prostitution that led television’s Anandi to end her life.

Mumbai Mirror has a three minute recording of a phone conversation between Pratyusha and Rahul which clearly suggests that latter wanted her to get into the flesh trade for money.

Depressed Pratyusha was crying, shouting and abusing Rahul and even confirmed him that she will commit suicide in next half an hour. She said, “B******d man.. I f**k so hard.. In my life I f**k so hard… for everything… I had not come here to sell myself… I had come here to act… to work. And where are you putting me today.. Rahul, you have no idea how bad I am feeling right now.”

In the further conversation, Pratyusha said, “Rahul, it’s over. I am over. Mar gayi main (I am dead). Everything will be over in half an hour.”

Family and friends earlier had accused Rahul Raj of creating situations for Pratyusha which led her take this extreme step. He was also arrested by the police but later was released on bail.
