Pran is my inspiration, says Anupam Shyam

Anupam, who is playing a grey-shaded role, said, "I love playing characters which has some message for the people. To play every character, I take inspiration from the one and only Pran Sahab."

When asked about his role of 'Bade Papa' in the show, Shyam stated, "This is the character which has many folds. As soon as the story will move on, you will come to know the different aspects of the character. I find myself very lucky to play the role of Bade Papa."

He also said that there are many similarities between the types of roles played by Pran and the character of Bade Papa.

Praising Pran, Shyam said that he was the style icon of that era. Zanjeer, Shyam and Upkar are some of Pran's movies that are his favorites.
