Mumbai: People go extravagant when it is about any special occasion and if you are in Bollywood going improvident means you have spend a fortune on buying that gift. But to many people priced items doesn't mean overly priced gifts but they look for the love and emotions with which the person has brought the present for them.

On his special day i.e. on his Birthday R. Madhavan shared with his fans a gift he received from the director of his next movie 'Rocketery: The Nambi Effect'. Thanking Prajesh Sen G. with a beautiful picture where he is posing with a portrait of his gift, he wrote, “Thank youbsoooo much @prajeshsen .. what a thoughtful and wonderful Birthday gift.. Rocketey on my head..and in my mind ..cannot get more prolific #Rocketey #actormaddy #rmadhavan.”

Wishing the actor on his Birthday, his co-star and former Miss World, Dia Mirza tweeted on his wall, "Happy birthday oh oh Maddy" with hearts and a poster of their film RHTDM 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein'.

The actors also didn't forget to give his wishes to the newly appointed Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman on her Twitter account, where he congratulated her for the post. Sitharaman on the other hand was quick to comment on R Madahavan's congratulatory tweet and wished him happy birthday, “Thank you very much, Madhavan. And a happy birthday to you.”

Actor, writer and film producer, R. Madhavan is a genius artist and has received four Filmfare Awards. Apart from Hindi cinema he has also worked in projects from seven different languages.

He has also established himself as a versatile actor and has given many laudable supporting roles in the industry. He is well known for the supporting roles in the films like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Rang De Basanti' (2006), Mani Ratnam's biopic 'Guru' (2007) and Rajkumar Hirani's '3 Idiots'.

Shining out as a star, Madhavan in 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' stole millions of heart with his romantic, boy next door image. Later, his movies like 'Tanu Weds Manu' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' came out as one of the major hits of Bollywood.
