See the first look of Kareena Kapoor Khan in 'Udta Punjab'!!!

Mumbai: After introducing the new 'Tommy Singh' look of Shahid Kapoor of his forthcoming movie Udta Punjab, the team also revealed the first look of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Kareena would be seen playing the role of a doctor in the film.

Besides the 'Jab we Met' co-stars, young actress Aalia Bhatt and Pollywood actor Diljit Dosanjh will be also seen in the lead roles.

The 27 year old, Student of the year fame Alia Bhatt, on Thursday, posted the first look of Kareena on twitter with a tweet that reads,” My Favourite....Kareena Kapoor Khan.”

About the movie:

• Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Udta Punjab tells the story of substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab.
• The movie has been Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Motion pictures and Phantom.
• Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a rockstar who has been trapped in a controversy realted to drugs.
• Kareena would be sharing the screen with her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor after a gap of six years.
• ‘Udta punjab’ is slated to be released on June 17.
