Model accuses singer Mika Singh of molestation; complaint filed

Mumbai: An aspiring model has lodged a complaint at the Versova police station on Tuesday against singer Mika Singh for allegedly molesting her at his residence. Police officials said that a probe has been launched in the case.

What is the issue?

• Model said that Mika knows her from last five years
• Mika promised her to get model assignments and also a role in the film
• Model said that she used to visit Mika’s Andheri residence for work
• On Tuesday, Model reached Mika’s residence to ask him why is he not helping her

Model accuses Mika Singh of molestation

• Girl said that an argument started between her and Mika when she reached at his residence on Tuesday
• Model said that Mika grabbed her by the hair and pushed her around
• Mika also assaulted me, alleged the upcoming model

Police action

• Police has filed a complaint under sections 354, 323 and 504 of IPC
• Police will check CCTV footages of Mika Singh’s home for further evidences
• Police said that no arrest would be made during the preliminary investigations
