Mia Khalifa takes a jibe at Priyanka Chopra for silence: Is Mrs. Jonas going to chime in?

Mia Khalifa, who recently joined other international voices over the apathy of the farmers' protests in India, took to Twitter on Sunday night to take a jibe at global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The former adult star had joined pop icon Rihanna a few days ago when she tweeted saying, "why are we not talking about this?".

Mia Khalifa:

Mia took to Twitter and shared a picture from the protest and asked, "What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?!" She had further added, "'Paid actors,” huh? Quite the casting director, I hope they’re not overlooked during awards season. I stand with the farmers. #FarmersProtest," her tweet read.

Now, Mia has taken a dig at Priyanka for her silence over the chaos that has unfolded in the last one week or so. She tweeted, "Is Mrs. Jonas going to chime in at any point? I’m just curious. This is very much giving me shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes. Silence."

Priyanka, however, had tweeted back in December over the ongoing protests. Reposting Diljit Dosanjh's tweet. Priyanka had written, "Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later."
