Police have cracked the case of murder of female Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the police, the SDM was murdered by her husband. The accused was unemployed for several months. He was angry that his SDM wife Nisha Napit had not made him a nominee in her service book, insurance and bank account. The accused not only murdered his wife by smothering her face with a pillow, but also tried to destroy the evidence of the murder. The accused is in the custody of the police.

Nisha Napit and Manish Sharma met on a matrimony site. They got married in 2020. Nisha Napit's sister claimed that the family was not a part of the wedding, as she told us about it much later. According to the police, the married life of both was not going well.

According to the report, Manish Sharma had come to the SDM residence a few days ago to meet his wife. During this time he killed his wife. On Sunday, around 4 pm, he took Nisha Napit to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. As soon as the news of his death was received, the police reached the hospital.

When the police asked Manish Sharma about the sudden death of his wife, he fabricated a false story. The accused told that his wife was suffering from kidney disease. The accused claimed that his wife had observed a fast on Saturday. He vomited at night, after which he was given some medicine. The next day she did not wake up.

To mislead the police, Sharma said, "I did not wake up early on Sunday. There is no work on Sunday, so Nisha also kept sleeping. When the maid came at 10 o'clock, I went for a walk. Then around 2 o'clock in the afternoon when she did not wake up, I thought I will wake her up. When she did not wake up, I gave CPR. To no avail, I called the doctor. The doctor asked me to bring her to the hospital.
