Massive fire breaks out on sets of Coolie no.1 remake

Lucknow: A massive fire unfortunately broke out on the sets of Coolie No 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan on wednesday morning.

The film’s shoot commenced in Bangkok a few weeks ago and the second schedule is currently underway. The fire incident reportedly happened on Wednesday around 12.30 AM at the Filmistan studio in Goregaon.As per reports, neither the crew nor anyone else was hurt in the fire. However, it is not known whether the fire will affect the film’s shooting schedule or not.

The film is directed by David Dhawan and it's producer Jackky Bhagnani tweeted about the incident to thank the firefighters and Mumbai police for their assistance, and reassure that everything was fine. He wrote "We would like to thank the Firefighters ,Mumbai Police and the BMC officials for their immediate assistance, after a concerning situation on the sets of #Coolieno1 The fire was put out immediately with no casualties. I want to thank everyone for their concern and wishes."

The lead actor Varun Dhawan is teaming up with Sara Ali Khan for the first time in the Coolie No.1 remake. The film will hit the screens on May 1, next year. Best wishes from our side to everyone!!
