Mallika Sherawat beaten up, tear-gassed in Paris

New Delhi: In an attempt of robbery, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat was reportedly beaten up and tear-gassed by three masked intruders in her Paris apartment on Thursday.

The incident took place last Friday (November 11), when Mallika, along with male friend, arrived at her flat around 9:30 pm. Both were sprayed tear gas before being beaten by three unidentified men, said reports.

Meanwhile, the investigation is on for the same. ‘Murder’ actor has not reacted to the incident yet.

“A criminal investigation has been launched, with detectives working on the theory that the assailants were attempting a robbery,” said reports.

Similar incident took place with American reality TV star Kim Kardashian West when five masked robbers looted jewels costing millions of pounds in a hotel on October 3.
