Lucknow: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has time and again proved that he has a heart of gold. The actor, who is shooting for his next film 'Prasthaanam' in the city, visited Sheroes Hangout here to make the day of acid attack survivors.

Sanjay on Wednesday visited cafe after receiving an invite from the team through Twitter. Overwhelmed by the invitation, he made sure to spend some quality time with acid attack survivors who run the café.

"They are real-life heroes and these strong women are an inspiration to all of us. They have shown unwavering strength to fight and survive in the most difficult situations," Sanjay said in a statement.

"It is truly an honour to be receiving the love and support of such beautiful souls," he added.

The girls were, naturally, more than thrilled to meet the actor.

Notably, the Lucknow leg of the film's shooting began at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Wednesday.The 'Saajan' actor will shoot for the film in the state capital for around two months.

'Prasthaanam' is the remake of the 2010 Telugu superhit film. It also stars Manisha Koirala as Dutt's wife, Jackie Shroff, Amyra Dastur and Chunky Pandey.
