Bhairavi Goswami's obscene remark brings positive publicity for Kriti

Mumbai: Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon said that she is happy for Bhairavi Goswami's recent obscene remark on her figure as it got the Raabta actress a lot of publicity.

Kriti along with Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana appeared for the promotion of their upcoming film Bareilly Ki Barfi in & TV’s show Comedy Dangal.

Recently, model turned actress Bhairavi Goswami made headlines for her shameful comments about Kriti Sanon's figure.

A week ago Kriti shared a video on twitter of herself dancing on the song Hawa Hawa from Mubarakan, in a thigh high slit gown.

“So what if you're wearing an elegant gown..Do Rastaa dance when #HawaHawa plays!?? @arjunk26 @theathiyashetty @Ileana_Official @AnilSkapoor “

Bhairavi, who had a blink-and-miss appearance in Hate Story and Bheja Fry, was quick to jump in and wrote on twitter, "She is really behaving like a deranged woman. How did she become an actress. No headlight, no bumper. Even college students look better (sic)."

Reacting to that, Kriti said, “Who is Bhairavi Goswami?? I am happy for her as she got lot of publicity from it and now many people know her name so it’s really good for her.”

While Arjun Kapoor was all praise for Kriti's "palang tod naach", but self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan was not impressed.

"Ye Dekho Kiriti Bechari, Raabta Ke flop Hone Ke Baad, mentally disturb Ho Gayee hai (sic)," he tweeted.

Twitter users also were outraged at Bhairavi's attack on Kriti and slammed her for her disgusting comments. Twitter users did not seem to know who she was, and lashed out at her for her "publicity stunt."

On the other side , when asked Kriti about who is more comical in three of them, she said, “Among three of us, Ayushmann is more comical because most of the times he likes to crack jokes and I really like coming to comedy shows and I feel Comedy Dangal is pretty good. It’s got really talented people and we had so much fun being on this show."

When asked whether she is feeling any pressure about release of Bareilly Ki Barfi as her last film Raabta didn’t do well, she said, “I think, we are more excited. We feel pressure just like we used to feel pressure in our exam days in school and college but while promoting the we didn’t have that much time to think about that and suddenly the release of the film comes” .
