KBC 9 gets its first IAS contestant in Dr. Vinay Goyal

Mumbai: A 2016 batch probationary IAS officer from Kerala cadre, Dr Vinay Goyal, becomes the first ever IAS participant to reach the hot seat of the living legend Amitabh Bachchan hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 9.

The episode has been already shot and will be aired on October 9th and 10th.

Sources close to the show informed newstrack.com that Vinay, who hails from Haryana, won Rs 12.5 lakh before calling it a quit on 13th question, after giving 12 right answers and using all his lifelines.

It may be mentioned that Kaun Banega Crorepati season 9 has become the hottest telly news after the show got its first crorepati contestant in the form of a social worker from Jamshedpur, Anamika Mazumdar.
