Lucknow: Kartik Tiwari, better known as Kartik Aaryan, is celebrating his 29th birthday today. Born and raised in Gwalior, he relocated to Navi Mumbai to pursue an engineering degree in biotechnology. He simultaneously dabbled in modelling and made attempts to start a career in film.
After struggling for three years, Aaryan made his acting debut in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, a buddy film about the romantic tribulations faced by three young men, which was directed by Luv Ranjan and co-starred Nushrat Bharucha. Very less people know that the girl who meant the world to him dumped him because she did not believed that he had potential of becoming an actor.
In the world of nepotism, it was not easy for Kartik Aaryan to enter the industry and make his mark. Still Kartik Aaryan did not think twice and came to Mumbai like millions of other people. He started his struggle and sacrificed his studies. During his struggling period, he did not have the money to afford a house for himself. So, he preferred to stay on rent with 12 men under the same roof.
He also used to cook for his roommates and earn some more money. He finally received his first break in Bollywood with 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and the journey from there in was nit easy and quick towards success. It took a lot of time and patience for him to make his mark and to become the new sensation for every girl next door. He changed his name after his debut in Bollywood and became Kartik Aaryan from Kartik Tiwari.
