Romance started at 'Tashan' film set:

The love story of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has been very memorable and interesting. The two met in 2008 during the shooting of director Vijay Krishna Acharya's film Tashan. In this film, apart from Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor were in the lead roles.

The film Tashan may not have done anything special at the box office but this film gave birth to the love story of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Kareena Kapoor said she wanted to marry Saif secretly away from the media and dazzle, the daughter's decision was opposed by father Randhir Kapoor and mother Babita. But it happened exactly as Kareena wanted. Saif and Kareena revealed this after getting married. During an interview, Kareena had told that she had threatened her parents that she would elope with them if she would not let him marry Saif Ali Khan secretly.
