Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir & others get trolled for celebrating Randhir Kapoor's birthday
People were furious considering the celebrations were carried out in the same week as the family mourned the death of their loved one.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and other members of the Kapoor family that attended Randhir Kapoor's birthday dinner last night, are garnering hate online. Randhir and late Rishi Kapoor’s brother Rajiv Kapoor was the youngest son of Late Raj Kapoor. The actor took his last breath on February 9, 2021, succumbing to a cardiac arrest. Members of the Kapoor family have been receiving backlash for hosting a party merely five days after the legend’s demise.
In most Indian families, people have a minimum mourning period of 13 days, while in others no celebrations are conducted for that unfortunate year.
Kapoors Celebration receives backlash:
Trolls took to social media to comment on the matter. Commenting on how the celebrations seem insensitive considering the timing, one troll wrote, "Inke yaha hi to death hui thi, aur birthday celebration bhi ho raha hai,kitni jaldi satish hotey hain inke emotions." People were furious considering the celebrations were carried out in the same week as the family mourned the death of their loved one.

Another person wrote, "How can they celebrate a birthday party just after shocking demise? Party after there is recent death in family (Rajiv Kapoor) what kind of family they are."

The media reports suggested that while Rajiv was rushed to hospital soon after he suffered a massive heart attack. He was declared dead on arrival by the hospital. Needless to say, it has been a massive jolt for the Kapoor who had lost Ritu Nanda and Rishi Kapoor last year 2020.
