The man, who is apparently a fan of Kamal Haasan, tried to block his vehicle and banged the windowpane. However, he was released by the cops after investigation.

It was claimed by actor and politician Kamal Haasan’s party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) on Sunday that party chief Kamal Haasan's car was attacked by a drunk man. The incident occurred when Kamal Haasan was returning to his hotel after campaigning in Kancheepuram. The man, who is apparently a fan of Kamal Haasan, tried to block his vehicle and banged the windowpane. However, he was released by the cops after investigation as he was only attempting to meet the actor.

While Kamal Haasan was not injured in the incident, it is reported that the vehicle’s windscreen was damaged. According to media reports, the person was drunk and he tried to catch a glimpse of Kamal Haasan and hence tried to bang on the car window. While Kamal Haasan is currently busy with the upcoming Assembly Elections, it was revealed by the director of his upcoming film, Lokesh Kanagaraj that an update about the film is on the cards.

Titled Vikram, the film is one of the highly anticipated ones. When it was announced, a short teaser was shared by the makers. Also, it was revealed that it will be a gangster flick. Other than Vikram, Kamal Haasan also has in his kitty, Indian 2 directed by Shankar with Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh as the leading ladies. The film’s shooting was not restarted ever since an accident happened on the sets. It is expected that an update will be announced by the makers soon.
