Irrfan Khan tags Deepika Padukone as the ‘biggest star’

Mumbai: Noted Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has eulogized her ‘Piku’ co-star Deepika Padukone, dubbing her as the ‘biggest star’ ever.

Few days ago, the ‘Cocktail’ fame actor was also applauded by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The Bollywood Shehenshah said people watched ‘Piku’ just because they wanted to see Deepika’s brilliant work in the film.

What Irrfan Khan said:

• Deepika is the diamond in the whole montage of actors in ‘Piku’.
• I am glad that Big B also acknowledged Deepika’s work in the film.

Irrfan, who is busy promoting his upcoming flick ‘Madaari’ has said that they were trying to redefine commercial cinema as he thought it should be broadened.

Directed by Nishikant Kamat, ‘Madaari’ is scheduled to be released on July 15.
