Income Tax Raid at movie set of Tamil Actor Vijay

Famous Tamil actor Vijay questioned by Income Tax Department over tax evasion case. Vijay was shooting for his upcoming film "Master". Income Tax Team visited him on his set and immediately shooting was stopped for a while.

Tax evasion case linked to a cinema firm:

Vijay was shooting for a scene of his movie "Master" near Neyveli coal mine and a team of IT department reached there. The officers of the Income Tax Department visited him in connection with an alleged tax evasion case linked to a cinema firm. The officers are also searching the properties of AGS Cinemas and film financier Anbu Cheliyan in Madurai.

Around 20 locations belonging to AGS Cinemas were also raided.

Actor Vijay's next film "Master" is Tamil-language action-thriller film written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto. But his fans are in shock after this news as he is top actor of the industry.

According to the sources, shooting for vijay's movie 'Master' has been canceled. This interrogation session took approximately five hours. Vijay is famous Tamil actor, singer and Dancer. Vijay's career improved rapidly when he was praised for his role as a bodyguard in "Kaavalan".

The actor was featured on the 38th spot in Forbes’ list of 50 highest-paid celebrities in 2019. His fans can him "Thalapathy". He is one of the highest paid actors of South Indian Cinema. He is married to Sangeetha Sornalingam. Vijay started his career at the age of 10 as child actor. He got fame from his romantic roles in the movie and then after for comedy films.

He was also appeared in a bollywood song Chinta Ta Chita as a cameo with Prabhu Deva. Some of his famous films are Junior NTR, Khiladi No. 150 and Kaththi.
