"That's what life is for: dreaming and chasing that dream!" The quote suits best for a man with magical voice - Gaurav Medatwal, who is now a home name in the world of singing.

From a very early age, Gaurav had a passion for singing and he never had a second thought of making this his profession. Hailing from a small town Udaipur and coming from a non musical background, the journey was not going to be easy and Gaurav knew this.

From his early school days to college life, he always remained a star as he was loved for his singing. He was a fine keyboard player and loved to give his own style to every song. But life outside the school and college was not so easy and he faced several rejections from the music fraternity.

He found a guru and got himself trained in Hindustani Classical Music.

As it is said that 'talent needs a break to blast', the same was the case with Gaurav who, along with his band, was selected for Colors' popular reality show India's Got Talent. Judges of the show - Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar were fans of 'The Live 100 Experience' and Gaurav was one of the main reasons behind it. Despite being a runner up, he won the hearts of millions.

He got his first Bollywood break in Hrithik Roshan starrer flick 'Super 30' with a soulful song 'Niyam Ho', composed by ace composer duo Ajay-Atul.

He added feathers to his cap as he also recorded the theme song for the living legend Amitabh Bachchan hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati for the current edition.

Apart from Bollywood, Gaurav Medatwal has also lent his voice to 2 songs in an upcoming Rajputi Rajasthani Based Film named “Suryapratha” under BH Production.

In a very short span of his singing career, Gaurav has done over 500 live shows and concerts all across the country and has a fan base in millions.

Gaurav's journey is an inspiration for all aspiring singers and we wish him good luck for all his upcoming ventures.
