I lied about my height to get a role in TV Serials: Karishma Tanna

Mumbai: Karishma Tanna is now a famous face of Silver screen . She made her important place not only on the small screen but also on Big screen and films. In this time we all are fighting a big fight against corona virus outbreak. Karishma Tanna was seen in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10' and earned a lot of love from her fans.

Recently, she shared few secret of her life with her fans. She shared her struggle in the industry and the fame from the fans. Due to the closure of the shoot, new episodes are not airing. Karishma told in an interview that there was a time that she used to think a lot about her height.

She said, "That is just a subtle way of saying that we cannot take you in the film. It is a polite way of saying that. But that is okay. Generally, in an actor's life, rejections do come and first I used to have my heart broken, but now I have learned it the hard way that as an actor, we need to take everything positively. You cannot be pulled down because someone is not giving you work, you have to try to do it the right way to get a positive response. You cannot get sucked in the black hole."

"People generally have the perception that 'oh, an actor's life is so fancy, they are so popular' but we also have our share of struggles, rejections, downfalls, we face months and months of not working. After seeing huge success, when we see that, the depression we go through, it is all real. We have to try and motivate ourselves and be happy."

Karishma Tanna also revealed that she worked in TV industry and after doing serials it is easy to come in Films. She also added that working in films is easy but if someone don't want to give you work, they make unnecessary excuses.

Karishma Tanna has worked in Film 'Sanju' with actor Ranbir Kapoor'. She has appeared in so many famous tele-serials like 'Kyuki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi,' 'The khatra show', Naagin etc.
