Kangana Ranaut doesn’t know the art of mincing words and she has proved it times and again. The actress, who has been strongly voicing her opinion about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, stepped into boiling waters after she compared Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir. She has been granted Y-plus Category security by the Home Ministry ahead of her Mumbai visit on September 9, said officials.

The Y-plus category central cover entails deployment of about 10 armed commandos with the protectee, PTI reported.

The move came amid an escalating war of words between the actor and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut after her “Mumbai feeling like Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir” comment on Thursday. She had also said that she feared Mumbai Police more than what she has dubbed as ‘movie mafia’.

Sanjay Raut:

Raut had hit back in Sena’s mouthpiece Saamna on Thursday, asking Kangana not to return to Mumbai for criticising Mumbai Police. “This issue concerns the pride of Maharashtra and there will be no compromise on this front. Ranaut needs to apologise for her PoK remarks or she will face the music from our women’s wing,” he had said in his editorial.

Kangana Ranaut:

Needless to say, Sanjay’s cuss words haven’t gone down well with Kangana and the Tanu Weds Manu Returns have given a befitting reply to him.

Refusing to back down, Kangana had said that she will return to Mumbai on September 9 and said Raut is ‘not Maharashtra’. “Your people are threatening me, still I’ll come to Mumbai on September 9,” she said in a video message on Sunday. “Mr Sanjay Raut, you called me ‘haramkhor ladki’.

Kangana Ranaut's Father:

Also, she is at present at her family home in Manali. On Sunday, the actor’s father had also written to the Himachal Pradesh government, requesting security for her.

As she is leaving for Mumbai on September 9," Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had said.
