From Smoker to Hollywood actor, Johny turns 60

Better known for the best acting in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’ Johny Depp turned 60 on Friday. Johny Depp aka John Christopher Depp II was born on 9^th June 1963 at Kentucky, US. He is an American Actor and musician. He is famous but not for the films only. . He is also infamous for drug addiction, fight and for the court cases also. He was awarded with Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award and has been nominated for three Academy Awards and two BAFTA Awards.

However, his early life was full of struggle and poverty. His mother Betty was a waitress and father John Christopher Depp was a civil Engineer. Following continuous fight between his mother and father, he became an addict. His parents divorced when he was 15 years old and his mother married with another person named Robert Palmer. Robert was a musician and was an inspiration for Depp II.

At the age of 20 he married with makeup artist Lori Ann Allison in 1983. Depp had debuted with his first feature film ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ in 1984 and appeared in ‘Platoon’ in 1986. He got fame with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie in 2003. He also received acclaim for the Chocolate in 2000, Finding Neverland 2004 and Public Enemies in 2009.

In 2012, Depp became the world’s highest paid actor and was listed by the Guinness World Records with earning $75 Million in a year. He was in a relationship with Vanessa Paradis in 1998 to 2012.

In 2004, Depp purchased an Island about 96 Km from the Bahamas, named little Halls Pond Clay. The price of island was $3.6 Million which is now valued around $75 Million.
