Golmaal Again sets new benchmark; fetches over 200 crore in India

Mumbai: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's latest release 'Golmaal Again' has set new benchmark for the comedy movies in Bollywood by entering the Rs 200 crore club in India in 24 days since its release.

The amazing response of the audience has overwhelmed the filmmakers.

Released on October 20, the fourth installment of the 'Golmaal' franchise collected Rs 1.69 crore on Sunday, taking its cumulative total to Rs 201.43 crore at the Indian box office.

"I am overwhelmed with the response the film has received and thank the worldwide audience for appreciating the film," Shetty said in a statement.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
