Former Bigg Boss contestant Jayashree Ramaiah passes away by suicide

Sandalwood actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Jayashree Ramaiah was found dead in her residence on Monday afternoon. It is reported that the actress was found hanging from the ceiling of a home in Bengaluru. According to reports, Jayashree who was battling depression, passed by suicide on Sunday late at night but her body was recovered only on Monday. The sudden demise and Jayashree's extreme decision has sent shock waves in the Kannada film industry.
Jayashree Ramaiah had twice spoken about self harm on her social media spaces. Once she wrote on her Facebook page that she was done with the world and her depression and posted a good bye message. However, later, she deleted the post and stated that she was alright and safe. Later, on July 25th last year, she went live on Facebook and spoke about her depression and how the thought of self harm has always occurred to her.
She said, "I am not doing all of this for publicity sake. I am not expecting financial help from Sudeep sir as well. I am only expecting my death as I am unable to battle depression. I am financially strong but depressed. I have been going through a lot of personal issues. I have been betrayed since childhood and unable to overcome it. I am a loser I need mercy killing." It was reported that Kiccha Sudeep, who hosted the reality show Bigg Boss, offered her a helping hand to help her battle the depression. We pray for her soul to rest in peace.
