First look of Deepika-Ranveer in 83': Looking "perfect" as Kapil Dev and Romi 

Deepika Padukone and the team of upcoming movie starring Ranveer Singh shared the first look of 83'. The movie based on the story of World Cup victory of India in 1983.

This was the first time when India won the Cricket World Cup and Kapil Dev was the captain of Indian Cricket Team.This movie everyone as Cricket is the only sport which is loved by Indians. At the same time Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone and her real life husband who is also a top rated actor of the industry is in lead roles.

Thsi movie has different spark with the best star cast as Hardy Sandhu who is a famous Punjabi Singer, also in an important role. Hardy Sandhu has played under 19 Cricket before starting his career in Singing.

Deepika is going to play the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev. In 1983 when India won World Cup for the first time, Kapil was newly wedded to Romi Dev. Media called her lucky charm for the win.

Sharing her look from '83, Deepika Padukone wrote, "To be able to play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour. I've seen very closely the role a wife plays in the success of her husband’s professional and personal aspirations in my mother and 83 for me in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own".
