Mumbai: A FIR has been registered against the stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma regarding the illegal construction of 9th floor flat in the Goregaon high-rise DLH Enclave. The setback for Kapil has come four days after his tweet against Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officers asking bribe.

The case has also been registered against Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan by the BMC official for violating the rules under MRTP Act. Irrfan owns 5th floor flat in the same building.

“The case has been registered by BMC officials who have found the two Bollywood personalities in violation of the rules under MRTP Act. During the course of the probe the two will be called in for questioning,” an official said.

BMC has booked 15 flats for major violations in Goregaon high-rise DLH Enclave.

Earlier, Kapil had accused BMC office of taking bribe of Rs, 5 lakhs and also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his ‘Acche Din’ in a two consecutive tweets.

Later, Kapil had clarified that he was not targeting any political party and just expressing his concern against corruption.
