FIR against Gauahar Khan for going to film shoots after testing positive for COVID-19
Gauahar has been tested positive for the deadly virus and while she was expected to be in self quarantine post her diagnosis, the actress had allegedly stepped out for a shoot.
Gauahar Khan has landed in boiling waters after Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) filed an FIR against her in Mumbai’s Oshiwara Police station. It is reported that BMC took the step after the Bigg Boss 7 was accused of violating COVID 19 rules. According to media reports, Gauahar has been tested positive for the deadly virus and while she was expected to be in self quarantine post her diagnosis, the actress had allegedly stepped out for a shoot. Her negligence came into light after BMC officials had visited her at her Andheri (W) residence.
BMC:
Talking about the same, the BMC official told Indian Express, “When we went to her home in Andheri (W), she did not open the door. We then learnt that she instead went out for film shooting. We then approached the Oshiwara police station.” Confirming the news of the FIR filed against Gauahar, DCP S Chaitanya stated that the actress has been booked for violating COVID 19 rules. “An FIR has been registered at Oshiwara police station u/s 188, 269, 270 IPC, 51B of NDMA Act, 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act, on the complaint of a BMC official,” he added.

Meanwhile, Gauahar recently made the headlines after she lost her father early this month. The actress had even penned a heartfelt farewell for his daddy and wrote, “My Hero. No man like u, Ever! My father has passed, to the ever after as an Angel. Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life n the best soul he was.”
