Mumbai: Colors musical romance drama 'Tu Aashiqui', which premiered in September, is one of the top shows in India, as per the ratings of Broadcast Audience Research Council.

The show 'Tu Aashiqui' is inspired from the film Endless Love. It is based on two lovers effort to unite. It narrates the life of once-debauched rockstar, Ahaan (Ritvik Arora), who finally finds his sole purpose in life, all thanks to Pankti. He gets a shock when he finds out that the love of his life has always been used by a rich man, who happens to be Ahaan's uncle.

Actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani, known for essaying the role of Pankti in "Tu Aashiqui", is on cloud nine as the daily soap has climbed up to fifth spot in BARC ratings

"I am elated with the success of the show and that all our hard work is paying off. It has been receiving a lot of appreciation right from the launch of the show and has been growing ever since. Entering in the top five shows is a big achievement for all of us," Jannat said in a statement.
