Deepika to begin shoot for her next film in September

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, who is attending an award ceremony in Spain, told media that she will begin her shooting for the next film in September. The name of the film is not yet disclosed. It may be titled Padmavati and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

• The film Padmavati will also have Ranveer Singh and Raman Raghav 2.0 actor Vicky Kaushal.
• The film will be based on tyrant emperor Alauddin Khilji’s obsession with Padmavati.
• Padmavati was the queen of Mewar.
• Ranveer Singh, who is busy in shooting for Aditya Chopra's Befikre will wrap the shoot in July.
