Deepika, Shraddha's statements to be part of NCB's charge sheet in Sushant Singh's case

The statements recorded by Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor will be a part of the same as has been revealed by an official this Friday.

Sushant Singh Rajput's case has left everyone baffled since last year while the investigations still continue on the part of agencies like ED, NCB, and CBI. It has been reported earlier that the NCB will soon file a charge sheet in connection with the drug case related to Sushant's death. According to the latest reports, the statements recorded by Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor will be a part of the same as has been revealed by an official this Friday.

Among those accused are the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik. Meanwhile, the NCB is said to have filed a charge sheet on the aforementioned date which makes for around 70,000 pages at a special court. Out of this 50,000 pages are said to be of digital format. An official from the central agency has revealed that the charge sheet includes the statements of over 200 witnesses. It also names Azam Jumman and Anuj Keshwani as the main accused.

As has been revealed by an NCB official, the evidence against Rhea's brother includes forensic lap reports. WhatsApp chats, voice notes, and other deleted messages which were retrieved by the agency. The same official has stated that the accused used other means like Telegram apart from WhatsApp.

The NCB has reportedly invoked sections under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. A few of them have been accused of harboring offenders. And financial illicit trafficking apart from the procurement and supply of drugs.
