When Academy Awards or say Oscars are around the corner fans are getting excited to witness a fashion palooza where big designer brands dress famous personalities in extravagant regalia. Excitement level of fashion fans for the red carpet this season is beyond imagination as this Academy Award will see vogue which is gonna be to die for.

Audrey Hepburn

It may be 26 years since Audrey Hepburn died but her influence in film and her fashion statements are still relevant today. In 1954, the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awardee received her first Oscar nomination and award for the movie 'Roman Holiday'.

Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 Oscar dress was designed by her best friend, designer Hubert de Givenchy. Though the dress looks simple but this classic silhouette with a boat neckline, floral pattern and a slim white belt made it one of the most iconic dresses of all the time.

This out fit a bonzer and when it put on an auctioned in 2011, it was sold for more than $130,000!

Lupita Nyong’o

The actress got her first Academy Award nomination for her supporting performance in '12 Years a Slave' in 2014. And in 2015, the actress won the red carpet game with her Calvin Klein pearl gown which was beaded with 6,000 pearls.

The actress looked truly astonishing in this exquisite and timeless piece of art. The dress was valued at $150,000 and made headlines not only for its extravagant price tag or for being noticed on the Red Carpet but also because the very next day it was stolen from Lupita's room when she was out. But fortunately the dress was returned.

Jennifer Lawrence

The much talented and beautiful actress, Jennifer Lawrence received her first nod from the Academy at the age of 20, but it was until 2013 when she would win her first Oscar award.

In 2013, Jennifer wore a Dior blush dress which she simply tried on the morning of the ceremony and she was just lucky that it fitted her perfectly. The actress admitted that the dress, which is worth $4 million was her last-minute decision. It might be one of her best days as the actress won the best actress award later on.

This year the 92nd Academy Award or Oscar will see a star studded ceremony on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
