'Can see very bright future in UP': Prakash Jha on CM Yogi's Film City plan

In September, the UP CM had unveiled an ambitious plan to set up a film city in Noida. And rolled out an open offer to the film fraternity to come to the state for filmmaking.

After meeting a galaxy of film personalities in Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meets filmmaker-actor Prakash Jha to discuss the new Film City to be built in UP. Praising the UP CM, Jha said that the plans are forward-looking and are very encouraging towards the entertainment industry. Moreover, Prakash also shared that everyone from the film industry will get support from the UP government.

Prakash Jha stated, "It was a privilege to meet the chief minister. His views are farsighted and the atmosphere that is being created in the state towards films and entertainment is very encouraging and all of us will cooperate in that. I've been working here for the last three years, receiving support from administration, public and government. I see all possibilities that it will not only be successful but will go a long way. I can see a very bright future in Uttar Pradesh."

Meanwhile, Akshay met the Chief Minister for dinner at the Trident Hotel in Mumbai on Tuesday night, according to a government spokesman. The Chief Minister, who will be meeting a galaxy of film personalities in Mumbai on Wednesday, appreciated Akshay's efforts in making films with a social message.
