The Income Tax Department has raided the houses and offices of film directors Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and actress Taapsee Pannu.

New Delhi: The Income Tax Department has raided the houses of film directors Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and actress Taapsee Pannu . According to the information received, this raid is related to Phantom Films. Raids are being conducted by the Income Tax Department at many places in Mumbai.

There are alleged large scale income tax evasion against these people. There is a raid on the homes and offices of these people located in Mumbai and outside it. According to the information received from the sources, more big names can be revealed in the order of this raid.

Income Tax raid at almost 22 locations:

Explain that Phantom Films founded by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwani, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl. In 2018, the company disbanded after allegations of sexual exploitation on Vikas Bahl and the four partners parted ways. Apart from film production, this company also used to do distribution work.

It reported that a raid of income tax conducted in 22 locations including the house of Actress Taapsee Pannu, Director Anurag Kashyap in Mumbai. Apart from this, the team of Income Tax Department is also investigating at many places in Pune. There are currently 4 companies on the Income Tax Department radar.

In March 2015, Reliance Entertainment bought a 50 per cent stake in it. After this, Vikas Bahl evicted in 2018. Later this production house closed. Everyone announced that all these filmmakers will now make their films separately.

The house and office of Taapsee Pannu, Anuragh Kashyap and Vikas Bahl under Income Tax scanner. It is not yet clear whether if anything recovered from their locations.
