Mumbai: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Friday got nostalgic while sharing memories on the completion of 34 years of his film ‘KHUDDAR’.

Bachchan, who took to twitter to share his happiness for ‘Khuddar’ also, wrote about the fatal injury, he had received while shooting for ‘Coolie’.

Khuddar was released while Amitabh was bed ridden in the Breach Candy hospital of Mumbai in Maharashtra.

The actor suffered intestinal injury on July 26, 1982 , while shooting a fight scene with co-star Puneet Issar at the Bangalore University campus, which almost cost him his life.

A mis-timed jump was the cause of the injury. He was transferred to a Mumbai hospital, where he went into a ‘haze and coma-like situation’. He was ‘clinically dead’ for a couple of minutes, the actor claims.

Bachchan received 60 bottles of blood from 200 donors, one of whom was carrying the Hepatitis B virus.
