Lucknow: In the 70s and 80s Zeenat Aman's name had become popular. Zeenat's beauty shone at the top of glamor. But her debut in Bollywood was nothing special. If Dev Anand not been there , Zeenat might not have reached this point.

Zeeenat Aman from Journalist to Miss India

Zeenat Aman was born on 19 November 1951 in Mumbai. She was a journalist before working in films. She then entered the modeling world and at the age of 19 won the Femina Miss India title. She also won the title of Miss Asia Pacific International in the year 1970.

It was in 1970 that Zeenat acted in films like 'The Evil Within' and 'Halchal' in 1971. These films were a flop but people liked Zeenat Aman a lot. Zeenat was very disappointed due to the flop of these films and made up her mind not to work in Bollywood.

Zeenat Aman stars Heera Panna (1973), Prem Arms (1974), Warrant (1975), Darling (1977), Kalbaz (1977), Don (1978), Dharam Veer (1977), Chhalia Babu (1977), The Great Gambler (1979), Qurbani (1980), AlibabaBA Chalis Chor, Dostana (1980) and Lavaris (1981).

At the behest of Dev Anand, she played her sister in the film Hare Rama Hare Krishna and after that Zeenat's discussions were on every tongue. She also received the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for this film.

Zeenat Aman created a sensation in the film Satyam Shivam Sundar in 1978 by giving a bold scene. The film was widely criticized but despite this, Zeenat was nominated for the Filmfare Award. After this, her image became a glamorous and hot actress.
