Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in the house of famous film producer Tahir Hussain. The actor's mother's name was Zeenat Hussain. Aamir's brother's name is Faizal Khan, sisters name Farhat and Nikhat Khan.

His uncle Nasir Hussain was also the legendary producer-director of Bollywood. Despite belonging to the film family, Aamir Khan's father did not want him to work in films, but Aamir did not agree.
