BB13: Devoleena's mother responds to reports of her quitting the show

TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Gopi bahu' in Star Plus show 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya', is currently seen as a contestant in controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 13' hosted by Salman Khan. Devoleena is considered as one of the strongest female contestants in the show. On the 26th of November, news came out that Devoleena has injured her back while performing a task.
She is suffering from severe back pain at the moment due to which she is not able to participate in the tasks organised inside the house. Reports state that she might step down from the show because she has been advised complete bed rest. But according to a SpotBoyE report, her mother refuted these rumours.

She said "There is no truth to this or else team Endemol would have informed me by now about the development. She is very much inside playing her game like a fighter. She is a strong girl and she won’t quit the show because of her back pain. If you all have noticed from last one and half month she is constantly rubbing her hand as she is facing back problems, but she never showed it to the audience what kind of pain she is facing to gain sympathy. I appeal to fans to support my daughter as she is giving in a lot for the game."
Devoleena apparently suffered a back injury in January this year, and just a few days ago, hurt herself again. She has been in pain for a while now, and her close friend, Rashami has been taking care of her throughout. A doctor was also called in to look into her situation recently.
