Arjun Rampal asks NCB for time till 22 Dec, says busy with personal work

He cited personal reasons and said that he would not be able to appear before the NCB. They will appear for investigation on December 22 at 11 am.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had called actor Arjun Rampal for questioning today in the Bollywood Drugs Connection case. The NCB summoned Arjun Rampal by summoning him. On this, the actor has sought time till December 21.

He cited personal reasons and said that he would not be able to appear before the NCB. They will appear for investigation on December 22 at 11 am.

Arjun Rampal summoned once more by NCB, instructed to appear tomorrow

On Tuesday, the NCB summoned Arjun Rampal. Earlier in November, NCB questioned Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriela Demetriades for several hours. The agency also searched the actor's house. Devices such as laptops, mobile phones and tablets were seized from his house, after which he was called to the NCB office. During the search, no drugs were found from Arjun's house but many such drugs were found which are banned under NDPS.

During the interrogation during that time, Arjun Rampal told the media that 'I have nothing to do with drugs. There were some medicines from my house, which I have given the prescription to NCB. I am fully cooperating in the investigation. NCB is doing a very good job.

Mobile phones of Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and others have seen to The Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS) in Gandhinagar. The experts have started data recovery from these gadgets which also includes laptops and pen drives. And extracted data from 30 mobiles has been sent to the NCB.

The drug angle came to the fore after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had reportedly informed the CBI that the actor used to consume marijuana. The NCB crackdown also led to Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty’s arrest.
