Amitabh congratulates PV Sindhu, rebuffs Shobha De

She has been snubbed on the micro-blogging site by not only the super start but also others including sport lovers. The list has been joined by cricketer Virendra Sehwag after another Indian athlete Sakshi Malik won the bronze in the Olympics

Mumbai: In a decent rebuff to author Shobha De, Bollywood's mega star Amitabh Bachchan has said that he would like to take selfies with PV Sindhu who has made the country proud at Rio Olympic games which are underway.

While congratulating the Badminton player, he took a dig at the controversial author in a subtle way and posted, “PV Sindhu aap khali hath nahin medal le kar wapas aa rahi hain aur hum aapke sath selfie nikalna chahte hain. (We want to have selfie with you as you are not coming back empty handed).”

Big B’s post was an indirect reply to what Shobha De had earlier posted on the Indian athelets at Rio. The author had earlier written that Indian athletes were busy taking selfies at Rio and had lost the opportunity of winning medals.

Shobha De trolled on twitter:

She has been snubbed on the micro-blogging site by not only the super start but also others including sport lovers. The list has been joined by cricketer Virendra Sehwag after another Indian athlete Sakshi Malik won the bronze in the Olympics. Sehwag was appreciated for his tweet from the ‘Shahenshah’ of Bollywood.

Lately, the writer, has also appreciated Sakshi’s performance at Rio and took to twitter to applaud her.
