Mumbai: Bollywood’s sehenshah and most versatile actor, Amitabh Bachchan took twitter to celebrate 40 years of his evergreen song,”Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein”.

Amitabh in his tweet mentioned,” "40 years of 'Kabhi Kabhie' !! And they still want to hear me recite the poem..!! Strength of cinema!”

The song is from 1976 Bollywood movie 'Kabhie Kabhie' directed by Yash chopra.

The song was written by Sahir Ludhianvi .

Mohammed Zahur Khayyam was the music composer of this song.

The song was sung Mukesh.

The song was recorded at Mehboob studio.

It remained one of the finest creations of both its music director and lyricist.

The song brought Filmfare for both music director and the lyricist .

This song is regarded to have been a masterpiece by lyricist-poet Sahir Ludhianvi.
