Amitabh Bachchan's 'Shoebite' soon to hit Digital platform

Mumbai: A complete lockdown has been implemented in India. The third phase of lockdown is starting today. In this time every public place, routes are closed by govt. Bollywood industry also started a new way to release their films. Recently Irrfan Khan's Angrezi Medium was released on Dishney+hotstar.

After this the demand to release Amitabh Bachchan's 12-year-long film 'Shoebite' is gaining momentum. Former producer of the film Ronnie Screwvala has also come up with a solution to release this film. Ronnie says that Uday Shankar, the head of the Asia Pacific region of Disney and Fox Star India, can solve this problem in some time.

The story was written by director Manoj Night Shamlan. He allowed UTV to make it but later he decided to make it in English himself and he was adamant that his English film would be released first, only then a Hindi film could be released on this story.
