Mumbai: Recalling ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge’, Shehenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday wished his longtime friends as well as colleagues Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha a Happy Friendship Day.

The Bollywood megastar took to micro blogging website Twitter to wish his pals and veteran actors of the industry on this day of friendship.

It may be recalled that Amitabh Bachchan (73) and Dharmendra (80) redefined the meaning of friendship in one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters Sholay which was released in 1975.

Other highlights:

  • The ‘angry young man’ of Zanjeer shared few of his pictures with the two veteran Bollywood actors on his Twitter handle.
  • In one of the photographs, Mr Bachchan holds a picture-frame having a still from Sholay’s anthem of friendship (Yeh Dosti . . .).
  • “Kuch Pal Yadgar Ho Jaate Hain … Hamesha Ke Liye” (Some moments are forever memorable), reads the text in his tweet.
  • Another picture posted by him shows him presenting a bouquet to his Dostana co-star Shatrughan Sinha (70).
