Amid cancer rumours, Rishi Kapoor makes his 'care-free' appearance with his old friend

Manhattan: As soon as Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor posted a tweet that he is going to US for some medical treatments, fans went into deep shock and reports were doing rounds that he is diagnosed with cancer.

Randhir Kapoor, however, cleared the air and urged fans to not to jump on to the conclusion before the diagnosis is known.

Amid the rumours, Rishi kapoor was seen spending some 'kher-Free' time with his old bestie Anupam kher on Madison avenue.

Rishi kapoor, took to twitter and posted, "New York, Manhattan. “Kher-free” or is it “Care-free” on Madison Avenue with colleague and old friend Anupam Kher this afternoon."

Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York with his wife Neetu and son Ranbir for the diagnosis of yet-to-be-disclosed disease.

Anupam kher also took to instagram and posted, "Dearest #RishiKapoor!! It was so wonderful to meet you & spend some time with you on the streets of Manhattan. You are such a great & entertaining conversationalist. Loved talking to you about India, New York, the magic of movies & importance of a ‘pause’ in life. Bahut Achcha laga aapse milke."

Rishi and Anupam have worked together in several films, including Vijay (1988), Chandni (1989) and Chashme Baddoor (2013).

On the work front, Rishi kapoor will be next seen in Leela Yadav's Rajma Chawal.

The speculations, however, started taking rounds since the time when Rishi, Neetu and Ranbir were noticeably absent from Rishi’s mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor’s, funeral, with speculations rife that he had been diagnosed with Stage III Cancer.
