Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi Bomb' to release on OTT Platform

MUMBAI: Due to Corona virus, the entire country has been under lockdown for almost a month and due to this the film industry has suffered a lot. The cinema halls will remain closed even after the lockdown ends, so the wait for the release of many films may increase even further.

The films released this month are yet to appear on the screen and further film release schedule has been disturbed. In such a situation, online platform is emerging as a good platform for movies.

Few days ago Imraan Khan's Angrezi Medium was also released on OTT platform. Dishney and Hotstar app released that film on their platform.

Now, there are news that Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi Bomb' which was about to release in this summer. Now the makers of the film are planning to launch this on OTT platform.

According to sources, "Akshay Kumar, director and producer is considering the matter. Post production of the film is still pending, including editing, background music, mixing, etc. Right now the team is working from home, although it is taking more time for work. It is to be told that the film may be ready by June. Currently the lockdown is till May 3 and the theater is still closed through social distancing, so the team can release it directly on the online platform."
